Healthcare Commercials
PROJECT OVERVIEW & TONE:
We're seeking authentic talent to portray healthcare team members and patients for non-speaking b-roll scenes that will illustrate the patient care journey across various settings. We are creating a warm, professional, and approachable healthcare environment that reflects the diversity of Tulare and Kings Counties. We aim to capture genuine interactions that communicate trust, expertise, and compassionate care. This is a paid opportunity for actors in Fresno, Tulare & Kings Counties, and neighboring communities.
USAGE: Non-speaking b-roll footage for web and event videos, lifetime usage rights
PRIVACY: No real patient data will be used during filming. All scenes will be HIPAA-compliant and staged for privacy protection. Talent will be required to sign confidentiality agreements.
ROLE SPECS:
Physicians (2-3): Ages 35-65, diverse backgrounds, confident but approachable demeanor, comfortable portraying medical expertise through non-verbal communication
Nurses/Nurse Practitioners (2-3): Ages 28-55, diverse backgrounds, emphasizing women in these roles, warm and attentive presence
Front Desk Staff (1-2): Ages 25-50, friendly and efficient manner, professional appearance
Public Health Nurse/Case Manager (1-2): Ages 30-55, supportive presence, good at explaining visual materials
Social Worker (1): Ages 30-60, compassionate demeanor, good at portraying supportive conversations
Adult Child with Elder Parent (2): Adult ages 35-55, Parent ages 70+, showing respectful supportive relationship
Solo Adult Patients (3-4): Ages 30-75, diverse backgrounds, able to convey both concern and relief
Community Members (2-3): Various ages, representing the diversity of Central California
WARDROBE GUIDANCE:
Clinic-appropriate neutrals, no logos, light layers; patients in everyday attire
Care team in role-appropriate attire (scrubs, doctors coats, stethescopes, etc.), will be provided by production.
PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be available for a full 8-hour shooting day
includes 30 minute lunch break
Lunch & Crafty will be provided
(x2) 15 minute breaks.
Strong non-verbal communication skills
Natural on-camera presence without dialogue
TENTATIVE SHOOT DATES & LOCATION:
Up to four (4) days of filming during December, 2025 & January 2026 - Visalia, California
ACTORS DAY RATE:
Starting at $120 per day.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO AUDITION
If you are interested in an in person audition we ask that you:

Video Auditions should be formatted by the requirements listed below. If some requirements can not be met, we ask that you explain what difficulties you had with your submission, so that we can refine our process in the future.

FRAMING AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Record both waist-up and full-body shots so we can see your movement and posture
Use natural light when possible (no harsh shadows)
No filters or heavy editing
Wear appropriate attire, if possible, for the role (scrubs or business-casual for care team; everyday attire for patients)
Optional Action Sequences (2-4 minutes total)
Please record yourself performing one or more of the following sequences, please note before performance, which role you will be performing. Performances may include spoken parts, or can be mit-out-sound:
For Care Team Roles:
Physicians & Nurses: Enter an exam room, greet a patient (imaginary), review a chart, demonstrate supportive listening, then transition to a brief handoff with a colleague
Nurses/NPs: Check vitals (mime the actions), explain something using a visual aid, show active listening and reassurance
Front Desk: Welcome someone arriving, check them in, hand them materials, provide directions
Case Manager/PHN: Review a checklist, explain something to a patient using point-and-explain techniques, provide a warm and reassuring send-off
Social Worker: Sit with a patient (imaginary), demonstrate supportive conversation, offer resources (pamphlet or form)
For Patient/Community Roles:
All patient types: Arrive at front desk, check in, be seated in waiting area, follow a care provider to exam room, engage in a consult, exit with after-visit materials
Adult with Elder Parent: Show helping an older person check in, assisting them to a seat, helping them understand information
